Douglas Wilson. Jinky was a close winner in a vote where no fewer than 11 players received votes.
The winner of Stewart Devine's jersey is Jack Copland.

I raelly shoudl hceck my tpying before posting.
The Original Dundee Bino
It took me a little while to work out which one of the three was jinky!!!

But well done to jinky Wilson about time this guy got recognition he is by far one of the albions best players. Indeed, thats why he has attracted the attention of some of the more important scouts in the buissness. Just a shame The ned allan can't see the potential that the likes of the dundee united scout can see in him. If peters any sense he will sign up jinky with the potentential to make a bob or too out of him. Particularly with these clubs buying in the division!!!

Not only will jinky be chuffed at winning the young reds player of the year but he will also be well chuffed at finding a couple of boys hes taller than!!!

Who voted for this, was it really the kids or some adult just choosing someone...I have a few kids who go to the vast majority of the games and at no point did any of them say wee Jinky was their player of the season, the vast majority said either Paddy or Devine.

The voting papers were submitted by members of the Young Reds. No point in quibbling about the choice if the kids you're referring to aren't members, or are members who didn't vote.

I guess it is up to the individual Young Red and their parent/guardian as who makes the selection, but I know that in our house, my son makes the decision and jealously guards his right to do so.
