Player of the year dance tickets at Mcques on friday 12th may will be on sale to members only from tuesday 28th feb home v gretna see jimmy watson for tickets or any committee member. If there are any tickets left non-members may purchase them on sat 8th april. As usual tickets for the dance sell out pretty quick and members are asked to pay for them on the day as tickets will not be held without payment.

Just to remind supporters that there are still tickets available see jim watson or any committee member, tickets are now open to non members.

Do people realise that if we get through the play offs, there will be no players there that night .

Yip we were in a no win situation when we booked the dance if we had it earlier the season would still be going and if we left it to after the play off's there was a fair chance the players would be away on holiday, given the time scale from the final game off the play off to the following friday so what ever friday we booked there was always going to be a potential game. We also had to give a date to mcques to book a friday in advance as his fridays are very popular,it's not ideal and we will just have to see if we are in the play off's and how far we go.
To be honest i've been organising the dance for the past 18 years and getting the players to attend has always been a major problem so this is nothing new to us we would hope that the players will be in attendance on the night to support our dance given that the next game is on a sunday (if we make the play off's) and at the very least we will try to have the prize winners there, after all we keep being told they are proffesionals and if they are i'm sure they will be proffessional enough to attend and not have a drink on the night. cool.gif
